BECOME A 3 RIVERS AMBASSADOR
3 Rivers Ambassadors help preserve and restore our local rivers and streams by learning about our waterways and helping steward our waterways while taking part in hands-on stewardship and advocacy.
Whenever you attend a 3 Rivers Ambassador event, you gain a stamp! If you get a stamp in each of the three pillars, you BECOME a 3 Rivers Ambassador!
THE THREE PILLARS OF A
3 RIVERS AMBASSADOR
Gather a stamp on your 3 Rivers Ambassador card for all three pillars at events throughout the year.

3 RIVERS WATCH
Our 3 Rivers Watch events provide hands-on educational training that helps you learn how to spot and report water pollution. These training events take place on or along the water through kayaking, boating, or hiking.

3 RIVERS ART & ECOLOGY
Our Art & Ecology programs seek to educate and connect people to our waterways through nature-focused art and riparian ecology. Whether you are interested in learning about local plants and animals through art or through on-site identification, these events are for you!

3 RIVERS STEWARDSHIP
Our Stewardship programs bring the community together to be part of hands-on efforts that improve and restore our waterways, such as water quality monitoring, riverfront cleanups, and riparian restoration efforts.

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A 3 RIVERS AMBASSADOR?
3 Rivers Ambassadors are uniquely positioned with the knowledge and resources to advocate for our rivers. This is a great way to connect with others in Southwestern Pennsylvania who also care deeply for our local environment. Once you become a 3 Rivers Ambassador, you get incentives such as a certificate, recognition in our newsletter, a special edition Three Rivers Waterkeeper pin, discounts on our events and merchandise, and special events just for you and your fellow Ambassadors!
