Join Three Rivers Waterkeeper for 3 Rivers Art & Ecology opportunities in our watershed that will connect you to the local flora and fauna in our watershed in creative and new ways. We’ll provide the materials, just bring yourself!
Our Art & Ecology Program seeks to educate and connect people to our waterways through hands-on ecology education and nature-focused art. Our hands-on ecology education events will focus on learning the ecology of the plants and animals that live in and along our waterways – such as mussels, fish, and macroinvertebrates (water insects!), and native flora (plants!).
Some of our programs will have an art-based approach that focuses on using materials within the natural environment to record site-specific information, increase community connections, and generate new knowledge about our waterways.
