2023 Swim Guide Report

During May to September, Three Rivers Waterkeeper sampled multiple popular recreation sites for their E. coli levels. This report summarizes the results of the sampling effort as a whole and draws conclusions on the water quality from our 2023 sampling results.

Three Rivers Waterkeeper's 2023 Annual Report

At 3RWK, since 2022, we have been publishing annual reports that highlight our scientific findings, program achievements, and the progress of our work each year. These reports not only document key discoveries and environmental challenges but also share the impact of our efforts on the health of our watershed. Our reports are a way to reflect on what has been accomplished with your support and to share our vision for the future.

2023 Targeted Monitoring Mid-Year Report

In this report, Three Rivers Waterkeeper identified and mapped major industrial polluters within our Three Rivers Waterkeeper jurisdiction with a goal to hold polluters accountable for exceeding their permit allowances.

Shell Plant 2023 Interim Report

Since March 2022, with our partners, we monitored the waterways around the Shell Cracker Plant in Beaver County for nurdles and baseline understanding of water conditions pre-production and post-production changes to water conditions.

Harmar Train Derailment: One Year Later

On May 26th, 2022, a Norfolk Southern Train with cars containing petroleum distillates and plastics pellets collided with a truck near Harmar Township causing 17 train cars to derail. This report details restoration efforts made since then and what we are advocating for.
