The Three Rivers Waterkeeper is a non-profit organization that serves as a voice for the waterways throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our Mission is to protect the water quality of the Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio Rivers along with their respective watersheds through water sampling, discharge and use permit review, community engagement, and active investigation of all potential threats to water quality in the Three Rivers region. In doing so, the ultimate goal of the Three Rivers Waterkeeper is to provide a cleaner, healthier environment in and around our rivers.

By upholding these ideals, WATERKEEPERS, RIVERKEEPERS, BAYKEEPERS, and the like provide the communities they serve with an independent voice whose sole focus is protecting and improving water quality.
