3 Rivers Ambassadors

3 Rivers Ambassadors help preserve and restore our local rivers and streams by learning about our waterways and helping steward our waterways.

You can become a 3 Rivers Ambassador by participating in at least one event in each of our three main pillars throughout the calendar year.

Whenever you attend a 3 Rivers Ambassador event, you gain a stamp! If you get a stamp in each of the three pillars, you are now a 3 Rivers Ambassador!

Why should I become a 3 Rivers Ambassador?
3 Rivers Ambassadors are uniquely positioned with the knowledge and resources to advocate for our rivers. This is a great way to connect with others in Southwestern Pennsylvania that also care deeply for our local environment. Once you become a 3 Rivers Ambassador, you get incentives such as a certificate, recognition in our newsletter, a special edition Three Rivers Waterkeeper pin, discounts on our events and merchandise, and special events just for you and your fellow Ambassadors!

3 Rivers Watch

Our 3 Rivers Watch events provide hands-on educational training that helps you learn how to spot and report water. These training events take place on or along the water through kayaking, boating, or hiking.

Our Art & Ecology programs seek to educate and connect people to our waterways through nature-focused art and riparian ecology. Whether you are interested in learning about local plants and animals through art or through on-site identification, these events are for you!
